"It is within our families that we learn unconditional love, which can come to us and draw us very
close to God's love. It is within families that values are taught and character is built,"

Weekend with friends!

For a long time we've wanted to go camping with Andrew and Emily, but the right time has never come up. Well... we didn't go camping, but we had a picnic on Saturday.  The weather was so weird. In the morning it was sunny, and then, all of the sudden we got a lighting storm. Even though the weather wasn't really on our side, we had a great time!

One of our friends from church invited us to go on a bike ride with them on Sunday. We obviously said yes. We were going to ride some trails at Beaver Dick, but unfortunately the paths were flooded from the rain. Instead, we created our own trails somewhere in the middle of nowhere. We got to see a moose and we got stuck riding our bikes in a lightning storm on our way back. It was so much fun!!

Lately...

There has been many things going on this week. These are a few:

One of my best friends birthday was last Sunday!! Genna. She is so sweet and outgoing. I love her so much. Jason and I went over to her apartment to wish her happy birthday. We enjoyed delicious cookies and ice cream with her.

So, we figured out our little girl's name. It's going to be Leiahna Erika Andrus. We'll call her baby Lea. We can't wait until she comes. I've been making some headband flowers for her. I actually started making them about a month ago for my nieces and I figured if our baby was a girl, I could make her some. They are not perfect. But they are cute.

Jason is playing competitive lacrosse here at school. I know a couple of his teammates because I went to high school with them. They are really good. They won their first game on Friday. I felt so bad for them because the sun was shinning so much. It was between 76-80 degrees.  Jason is #12. That has been his number since he played football in 6th grade.   His team is the one with the orange jerseys.

Baby Time!!!

It's a Girl!!!! We are so happy and excited!!! The doctor says she looks very healthy. Which is great news. As many of you know, Jason wanted a boy and I wanted a girl. I guess he is getting over it!!! She wasn't very cooperative for us during the ultrasound. She would not show her face, but she showed her personal parts!! During the ultrasound she would cover her face with her arms. It was so cute! She has grown so much since the first ultrasound. She is also going to be a very girly girl because she totally knows already how to fold her legs!!!

One year anniversary!!!!

I can't believe a year has already gone by!!! The first few months go by so slow, but it really went by fast. Well... For our one year, we really didn't do anything amazing. It was nice and simple. We ate our cake!!! It was delicious.  Jason got me one rose for our one year. Then, he said he'll give me a rose for every year that we have been married. We went out to dinner and spent some time with family!!

Well I thought it would be fun to write our story/ How we meet... Here it Goes!!!

Jason and I knew each other from high school. We never really talked to each other because he was a Senior and I a Freshman.  Actually, at a Mormon dance he tried hooking me up with a boy my age ( aka Nathanael).  Secretly, I did have a crush on Jason that year. But because he was so much older than me, I never figured anything could happen. When Tara and Andrew got married, I helped at the reception. Nancy (Jason’s mom) asked me if I could take a picture with a cut out of Jason (He was on his mission).  I obviously said yes. I guess his mom sent him the pic and he couldn’t remember my name. He though it was Sylvia. Well... Kinda close. I invited Nancy to my graduation. I was so excited that she was going to come because she was my first Seminary teacher. I love her. Surprisingly, Jason wanted to come too. When they came over to congratulate me, I saw him there and I froze. I was like wow... he is here..this is awkward... I don’t know what to say... So I ignored him. I gave a hug to his mom and I was going to shake his hand, but he gave me a hug. I really didn’t talk to him. My sister and my parents did. I just talked to his mom.

Well my sister and his mom were secretly talking on Facebook trying to figure out how they can get us to go on a date. I guess Nancy told my sister that Jason could help register for classes and then my sister told me. Jason and I talked on Facebook a few times after graduation. When it was time for registration he did help. I actually knew more than him!!!! Since then we have been together :) He asked me to be his girlfriend a month after that!!! We went to college together. And after being together for 5 month we got engaged. Then four months after, we got married. And 9 months later we find out that I’m pregnant!!!!

Jason and I went BYU-I Together

We were talking about marriage in November. I went down to Utah for Thanksgiving and he told me to start looking for dresses.

We got engaged December 25th!!!

Family

While visiting, we were pleased to know that my cousins from Utah were coming to visit. Even though most of their time was spent at the beach, my aunt and uncle stayed with my parents. It was nice for my mom to have her sister there after the lost of their younger sister a few weeks ago.

Keally and Jason put make-up on me. They did a great job!
