"It is within our families that we learn unconditional love, which can come to us and draw us very
close to God's love. It is within families that values are taught and character is built,"

Happy girl!

I'm done with school! I couldn't be happier. I love being able to spend my time with Lea. I love watching her grow and learn every day. Lately, she has been talking a lot. She can completely understand everything that we are saying. She probably knows aver 100+ words. Her new words as of yesterday are shirt and chips and as you can think, they do not always sound like that.
Lea is a big explore and loves to go outside. We try to spend time outside, but some days are still too cold.

When I was in school, it was really hard for me to take pictures of her, but now I can't stop. She is just beautiful!!!

Lots and lots of updates....

I can't believe that I haven't blogged since Halloween!! That's crazy. Well this post is going to be full of pictures of our latest adventures. Where to start...

So we are out of Rexburg. We really miss our friends and neighbors, but we are glad to be here in Oregon with family. Jason graduated in December and I was able to walk with him even though I'm not done with my degree until April. I'm so proud of him and all the hard work that he put into school. Jason is currently working for an internet marketing company and doing some things of his own on the side. I'm finishing up school and taking care of Lea.

I can't wait to be done with classes. I am taking 18 credits this semester and it has been a little hard. But I'm so glad that I only have 2 1/2 weeks left until I get my Bachelor's. I couldn't be any more happy!!

We took family pictures with Jason's family.

I love this one of Lea

I celebrated my 21st B-day in December!

We celebrated Christmas with Family

We went to my sister's for New Years.

We took a trip with Jason's parents to Florida and the Bahamas!!

During all of these adventures, I was pregnant. By the time we actually went to the doctor I was already 13 and 1/2 weeks and they were able to tell what we were having. This pregnancy was a total surprise. We were being careful and cautious, but I guess Heavenly Father had another plan for us. I'm due August 5th. Lea and her baby brother will be a little less than 2 years apart, but that's okay. The pregnancy has gone pretty well. I get nauseous really fast, but nothing very extreme. I'm so excited to have another baby. I can't wait to meet him! And Jason couldn't be any happier. He really wanted Lea to be a boy, but that didn't happen. So He is extremely excited about us having a boy. Lea is going to be such a great sister. I can't wait for her to meet her brother.

What have we been up to lately

Jason and I have been very busy with school. Our schedules are filled with homework, tests, and projects. That's why I haven't updated our blog in a while. This is a recap of some things that we have done since the semester started:

We ran the Temple to Temple Relay.

Both, Jason and I did four miles. Obviously he was much faster than me. He ran a 6 or 7 minute mile. I was so impressed!!!

We had a girls and boys night. Our husbands watch the Avengers and eat pizza while the girls went to eat delicious cupcakes.

We also went to Dollar tree and we got silly string. We wanted to prank our husbands. So we made a silly story up in which they would all came down and we will got them with silly string. It was fun!!

We also heard Alex play the Back Pipes for the first time in two years!

My sick child :(

Lea has been sick for the past few days. She has a stuffy nose with a terrible cough. Although she is sick, she has been the happiest little girl. During the day she is fine, but at night she wakes up a few times crying hysterically. So I go to her room to calm her down and feed her.

Lea goes to bed around 7:00pm and wakes up around 6:30 the next morning. I usually go into her room around 3 or 4 because I am hurting really bad (You have to love breastfeeding).  Around 1:00am last night she woke up. I went in there and I fed her. She then woke up at 3:00. I was so tired that I had to let her cry it out. I felt so bad, but I knew that she wasn’t hungry because I had just fed her 2 hours prior and she usually goes 7-8 hours at night with no food. Eventually, I went in there to calm her down. She wouldn’t… So I cleared her noise and gave her some medicine with Jason’s help. She eventually feel sleep and slept in today until 9:00. This means that I also got to sleep in. I hadn’t slept in since I had her; 8 months.

This is her first time getting sick, so I’m just trying to figure things out. Today she did feel better and her nose wasn’t as stuffy. Hopefully it doesn’t last any longer!

I miss being at home with my baby girl although I still had a load of online classes it was fun being at home with her. I am taking 15 credits this semester. They are all upper level classes. Mostly Criminology related. I love them! So I am pretty busy. I was looking at pictures that lea and I took the past couple semester when I was home. I miss it… The good thing is that we are almost done with school, I can’t wait.

Here are pictures that we took with the Mac.

Thank goodness for the Mac!!!
