"It is within our families that we learn unconditional love, which can come to us and draw us very
close to God's love. It is within families that values are taught and character is built,"

Thanksgiving 2013

This year we got to spend Thanksgiving with my family! Since Jason and I have been married, we have never been able to spend Thanksgiving with them and it was so much Fun. My older sister came from Klamath Falls with her family. My older brother was also there with his Family. We had a great time!! I loved seeing all the kids play together. Most of the afternoon the kids were outside so I was able to take some picture of them! Here is an overload of picture--

It's really hard to get all the kids to look at the camera….

Lea's b-day party

A few months ago we decided that because family was going to be in town for Zaden's blessing, we also wanted to celebrate Lea's b-day with them. It was so much fun having all the cousins together!! I just loved seeing them interact with each other! Lea loved her party. I was a little worried about the weather because that whole week had been very humid, but Saturday turned out so beautiful and a little too hot for my liking. But that made the kids have so much fun!!! We had a slip n slide, a very little pool and Lea's new trampoline as a hit. All the kids loved jumping in it! (thank you nana).

Jason and I decided to give lea a tricycle for her birthday!! She loved it!!!

It is hard to get family all together and I feel so blessed that we were able to do so. Although Lea's b-day is not until the 16th, She had so much fun with everyone!!

Welcome Home Zaden!!

Zaden Ryan Andrus is finally home with us!! He is such a blessing in our lives. Lea is totally in love with him. She loves to give him kisses and to hug him. She is still a little rough, but is such a great helper when it comes to Zaden. I'm so happy that she is adjusting so well!!

The delivery went very well. It was completely different than the first time. He arrived on his due date, August 5th, 2013.  He was 7 lbs 9 oz and 21 inches. We were very surprised at how long he was!

He is such a joy in our lives. Having two kids are home is so rewarding. I am able to see how Lea is adjusting to the Zaden and how her love for him grows more and more every day. It is truly amazing to watch! Having two kids are home is a little crazy at times. Instead of being able to clean the house in an hour, it takes like four because you need to stop to feed, get lunch ready, change a diaper, feed again, change another diaper, etc. But that's ok because there is nothing more rewarding than being a mother! I'm truly blessed to have Lea and Zaden in my life. They are teaching me so much!

Sneak peek of our Home!!!

About a month ago we closed on our home and we love it! It is perfect for our growing family. The first few weeks after closing, we worked really hard on getting things done. We put new baseboards, doors, painted the trims around the doors, refinished the hardwood floors, and painted some rooms (If you want to see what it looked like before click here). Most of the inside of the home is complete, but we still have lots of work on the outside to do. Now, we are just waiting for baby #2 to arrive. We are anxious and excited for his addition to our family.

Here are some pics of our home!!

30 weeks!!

I really can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone!! I only have a little less than 10 weeks to go and I'm getting very anxious. I feel like there is lots of do before he gets here; especially with our new home. Other than that, I've felt very good. Lea definitely keeps me busy. We are trying to talk to her a lot about being a big sister. She knows that I have a baby growing in my belly. She kisses it and touches it, but other than that I don't think she really has a full comprehension of what is going to happen. We got her some "Big Sister" books, put she rather read other ones... She'll get it eventually!!

Home!!!

We put an offer on a home and after going back and forth a few times,  it was accepted!!! The closing date is June 25th. We are so excited!! Jason and I are truly grateful for his parents and how much they have helped us through this process. The home is exactly what we wanted. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, and a separate family and living room (That's something that I really wanted). Yesterday, we had the inspection and I was able to take some pictures of the inside of the home. There is some work that needs to be done to the inside and outside, but we are really excited to make it our own. Here is a sneak peak of the Home!-- Some picture might be blurry.

The Home sits on a flag lot, so there is lots of privacy
