I just love hanging out with Zaden!! His smile is so contagious. He is growing up so fast. The other day I was looking through our pictures and I came across pictures of Lea and Zaden when they were born. They were so little and delicate. Now they are getting so big and are able to play with each other (Zaden just stares at lea, but she likes to talk, touch, hit, and play with him). I love to snuggle with both them and sometimes when Zaden and I wait for lea to get up we just talk, cuddle and take pictures.
"It is within our families that we learn unconditional love, which can come to us and draw us very
close to God's love. It is within families that values are taught and character is built,"

Thanksgiving 2013
This year we got to spend Thanksgiving with my family! Since Jason and I have been married, we have never been able to spend Thanksgiving with them and it was so much Fun. My older sister came from Klamath Falls with her family. My older brother was also there with his Family. We had a great time!! I loved seeing all the kids play together. Most of the afternoon the kids were outside so I was able to take some picture of them! Here is an overload of picture--
It's really hard to get all the kids to look at the camera….

Zaden's Blessing
On Sunday September 1st we were able to bless Zaden --I know it was over a month ago, but I still wanted to record this special moment. It was so special seeing him dress in all white. He looked so handsome! Thank you to all those who made this day so memorable.

Lea's b-day party
A few months ago we decided that because family was going to be in town for Zaden's blessing, we also wanted to celebrate Lea's b-day with them. It was so much fun having all the cousins together!! I just loved seeing them interact with each other! Lea loved her party. I was a little worried about the weather because that whole week had been very humid, but Saturday turned out so beautiful and a little too hot for my liking. But that made the kids have so much fun!!! We had a slip n slide, a very little pool and Lea's new trampoline as a hit. All the kids loved jumping in it! (thank you nana).
Jason and I decided to give lea a tricycle for her birthday!! She loved it!!!
It is hard to get family all together and I feel so blessed that we were able to do so. Although Lea's b-day is not until the 16th, She had so much fun with everyone!!

Welcome Home Zaden!!
Zaden Ryan Andrus is finally home with us!! He is such a blessing in our lives. Lea is totally in love with him. She loves to give him kisses and to hug him. She is still a little rough, but is such a great helper when it comes to Zaden. I'm so happy that she is adjusting so well!!
The delivery went very well. It was completely different than the first time. He arrived on his due date, August 5th, 2013. He was 7 lbs 9 oz and 21 inches. We were very surprised at how long he was!
He is such a joy in our lives. Having two kids are home is so rewarding. I am able to see how Lea is adjusting to the Zaden and how her love for him grows more and more every day. It is truly amazing to watch! Having two kids are home is a little crazy at times. Instead of being able to clean the house in an hour, it takes like four because you need to stop to feed, get lunch ready, change a diaper, feed again, change another diaper, etc. But that's ok because there is nothing more rewarding than being a mother! I'm truly blessed to have Lea and Zaden in my life. They are teaching me so much!

Home!!!
We put an offer on a home and after going back and forth a few times, it was accepted!!! The closing date is June 25th. We are so excited!! Jason and I are truly grateful for his parents and how much they have helped us through this process. The home is exactly what we wanted. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, and a separate family and living room (That's something that I really wanted). Yesterday, we had the inspection and I was able to take some pictures of the inside of the home. There is some work that needs to be done to the inside and outside, but we are really excited to make it our own. Here is a sneak peak of the Home!-- Some picture might be blurry.

Easter
Easter was a few weeks ago, but I had lots of pictures to share. We started our Sunday with an Easter egg hunt for lea. She loved it! We then headed to church and had wonderful lessons about the atonement of Christ and that He is Risen.
After church we went over to my parents. The Easter Bunny also left some treats for us there! This year it was just my brother's family, my parents, Keally and our family. My sister could not make it and we really missed her and her family. All the kids had so much looking for their eggs! The Kids were also able to decorate cookies. Lea didn't really know what she was supposed to be doing, so we did it for her. Instead she just ran around the house eating the frosting.

FPP: Parenting Principles
This week in our class we discussed parenting and its
purpose. Parenting is such a powerful subject. As a parent I have to admit that
it is hard. It is not easy. After you have a child everything changes. Your
priorities are not the same and you become more selfless. There is little sleep, little time for yourself and tiredness. Parenting is the
greatest gift that Heavenly Father has given us.
Heavenly Father has a great plan for each one of us. I
remember when I got pregnant with Lea, I received many comments such as “You are
too young” or “How are you going to do it”. I have to admit that I am a young
mom. I had Lea at 19. You know what… I could have waited until we were done with school, but Heavenly Father
had something greater for me. Lea is
such a great blessing in our lives. I do not regret it. The great thing about being a young mom is
that I’ll be done having children by age 26. Isn’t that great?!!
How was I going to do it? I don’t really know. Everything
came together perfectly. I am going to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in
what I love and my relationship with Jason had grown. I I know that we couldn’t
have done it without Heavenly Father’s help. I know that He was there every step
of the way. He truly does love each one of us and I have seen His works in my
daily life.
I believe it is important to talk to your spouse and
determine what kind of parents you want to be. He or she may have a different
view and it is essential to address those before. I have to admit that being
parent is not easy, but I promise that if you work together with your spouse it
will be much better.
Once you get married the next big step is to try to have
children. Sometimes it is a longer process. Getting pregnant does take time. In
some cases you’ll get pregnant right away, but most of the time it will take
lots of fun/ tries (If you know what I
mean) lol. Heavenly Father does love you. He cares about you, He knows your needs and knows you better than you know yourself.
I hope you all have a great weekend. I am having a blast
here in sunny California. I can’t wait to post pictures of all the fun :)

So much to be thankful for!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We missed our families very much, but it was fun to have a new adventure. This Thanksgiving we had fun with friends (Chelsea & Alex, and Andrew and Emily). We had a really good time! We eat a lot, watched the Brady Bunch, and played a game.
There are many things that I am grateful for, but at this time, I'm thankful for my little family. I love them so much!! I couldn’t imagine my life with our baby lea and Jason!! So here are some pictures of us!!!
